THE APPLICATION PERIOD FOR 2013
IS NOW CLOSED.
All applicants will be notified by letter whether they did or did
not receive a scholarship.
Typically, letters are mailed by the last week in June 2013.
Did you receive a scholarship but your school hasn't received the
check? Did you change schools
AFTER your submitted your scholarship application?
It's possible the check went to the school on your application.
Failure to notify The Foundation you changed schools after
submitting your applicaton may result in loss of an awarded
scholarship. Scholarships are awarded based upon certain criteria.
For example, the scholarship you were awarded may have only been
available for a certain school. Changing to a different school would
no longer meet the scholarship requirements.
AS SOON AS YOU MAKE A CHANGE IN
SCHOOLS, THE FOUNDATION MUST BE NOTIFIED.
It is
the responsibility of the applicant to complete
all requirements.
Failure to notify The Foundation of a school change once the
application is submitted may result in loss of an awarded
scholarship.
All requirements must be
postmarked no later than midnight, April 1, 2013 in order to be
considered for a scholarship. All additional attachments postmarked
after April 1, 2013 will not be considered eligible for

Scholarship Spotlight

The Robert Franklin Parker
Memorial Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was put in place for the
purpose of honoring the life of Robert Franklin Parker, a truly
outstanding Christian businessman.
Mr. Parker loved his Lord, his wife, his
children and grandchildren. He loved people, especially young people
just starting their life's journey. He encouraged each of them to
attain his or her "best" through seeking God's direction and through
education, both of which Mr. Parker valued as a privilege and a
necessity.
Mr. Parker enjoyed serving his church and
community in many volunteer positions. He had a zest for living and
wanted that for everyone.
Earnings of the fund are being distributed
as scholarships to worthy and deserving students who are pursuing a
Masters of Business Administration or Law Degree from an accredited
instituion and in need of financial aid.
Prospective
recipients should demonstrate academic excellence, high moral
character, and strong leadership skils with the ability and desire
to impact the professional community in a Christ-like manner.
