POUR OVER WILL
The Pour Over Will is a will that transfers
property owned by you at your death to a trust. There must be a
previously existing trust to receive these assets. The will "pours
over" assets to the trust by use of the probate transfer process. A
pour-over will should be used with a living trust to sweep up any
assets that may not have been transferred to the trust during your
lifetime.
The staff of The Baptist Foundation of Alabama is qualified to
assist you in planning your estate. The Foundation has assisted
hundreds of individuals in Christian will preparation, trust
arrangements, charitable Gift Annuities, and other estate planning
options.
