The Kingdom Stewardship Alliance was announced at the 2008 State Convention. This ministry is developed solely to assist and equip the local church encouraging its members to be stewards of all God has entrusted to their care. Contact Randy Driggers, Office of Development at 334-394-2001 for more information. EMAIL

Estate Stewardship:  A recent article in Facts and Trends stated that 48% of SBC churches want to include a planned giving component in the church's educational ministry.  For more information on how your church can provide this needed ministry, email tbfa@tbfa.org or call Randy Driggers at 334-394-2001.

Welcome to the Baptist Foundation of Alabama’s website. We hope you find the new design helpful in providing useful stewardship, estate planning, and planned giving information. The Foundation was formed in 1940 to serve as the trust agency for the Alabama Baptist Convention. Since those early days, the Foundation now manages over $230 million in assets for individuals, churches, and Baptist entities.

In January 2005, The Foundation launched a major new initiative to partner with the local church in providing information and opportunities for teaching stewardship of estate assets. Since that time, more than $212 million in current and future interest gifts have been made for ministry with more than 60% designated for the local church. When God’s people understand that planning their estate is an act of stewardship, they act. We hope the information you find here will be helpful as you plan your estate or as your church decides to add this important avenue of stewardship training to the church's educational ministry. Please feel free to give us a call or email tbfa@tbfa.org.
