Stewardship Alliance
Your church, like many, is blessed with
Godly-givers. As Christians they seek to follow God's
commands. With pleasure and thanksgiving they give of their
talents, time, and financial resources. Through their giving,
the ministries of your church are supported and God's kingdom is
expanded.
There is no doubt every
church member desires their material gifts be fully maximized for
God's purposes. They want to make a Godly-difference in the
world through their giving. Simply put, they want to be
excellent stewards! The
Kingdom Stewardship AllianceTM
(KSA) was created specifically to equip church leadership with
appropriate tools to educate and assist their members in developing
a customized, wise, strategic, and God-honoring giving plan.
CORE BELIEFS OF GODLY STEWARDSHIP
w God is owner
of all things. He has entrusted us with select assets unique to each
and every person.
w It is God's desire
that we be good stewards of all the assets He has bestowed upon us.
w God-focused
and strategic estate planning is, in most cases, the largest act of
financial stewardship one will
ever undertake.
The Kingdom Stewardship Alliance is a ministry of The Baptist Foundation of Alabama designed for and
committed to serve a critical need in our local churches -
to equip local church leadership with the tools necessary to
implement a teaching ministry of being stewards of our estate.
If we believe the biblical mandate that we are to be stewards of ALL
God's blessings, then how we plan our estate becomes an act of
Christian stewardship.
Sadly, many Believers do not look beyond the tithes and
offerings. With the continuing trend of decreasing giving to
the local church, we have two choices. As church leaders, we can put
it to the back of our sermon library or teaching ministry and go on
with business as usual. Or, we can prepare for the future in an
attempt to have viable ministries that reach to the unchurched and
unsaved people in your demographic.
Thankfully, many church leaders have chosen to prepare now for
reaching future generations for Christ. For those church leaders who
have not prepared an educational plan, well, we will continue to see
too many churches closing their doors for lack of both giving and
members.
